Brilliantly designed and flawlessly built, this 4000 sq.ft. Contemporary home contains an abundance of unique and sophisticated architectural features. The main focus of the two-story Great Room is a 12’ wide modern, linear fireplace with asymmetrical concrete hearth and mantel. The fireplace surround (clad in split-faced stone), mantel and hearth are entirely cantilevered from the wall beneath a huge 8’ wide by 12’ high window.

In the foyer, an open-riser, cantilevered-tread concrete staircase was custom-designed with a corner landing from which four corner steps appear carved out of the concrete base. Glass railing with stainless steel posts complement the impressive ‘floating’ stairs and surround the entire upstairs loft area.

Other unique features include 12’ high ceilings, a 10’ high pocketing slider door to the backyard, polished concrete and cork flooring, concrete countertops and feature walls in kitchen and baths, stainless and bamboo panels flanking the breakfast nook entrance, a ‘mirror-style’ overflow swimming pool, lava-rock driveway and porch, lush bamboo and mature-palm landscaping, and a state-of-the-art electronic programmable control system allowing complete ‘touch-of-the-button’ control of lighting, air conditioning, shades and sound system throughout the home.

Considerable use of green materials and processes were used throughout this construction.
